Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the giggz platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. giggz reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Description of Service

giggz is a marketplace platform that connects restaurant workers (“Workers”) with restaurants and food service businesses (“Restaurants”) for temporary shift-based work. giggz facilitates the connection but is not an employer of Workers or a staffing agency.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use giggz. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Worker Terms

• Workers must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work
• Workers must complete identity verification and background check
• Workers are independent contractors, not employees of giggz
• Workers must show up for confirmed shifts or cancel with adequate notice
• Workers keep 100% of their stated earnings with no platform fees
• Ratings and reviews are tied to your profile and visible to restaurants

5. Restaurant Terms

• Restaurants must provide accurate gig descriptions and pay rates
• Payment for completed shifts is processed automatically through the platform
• Restaurants are responsible for providing a safe working environment
• Cancellation of confirmed gigs may incur fees
• Restaurants must rate workers honestly and in good faith

6. Payments

giggz facilitates payments between Restaurants and Workers. Workers receive same-day payment for completed shifts. Restaurants are charged a service fee on top of the worker's pay rate. All payment disputes must be raised within 7 days of the shift.

7. Ratings and Reviews

Both Workers and Restaurants can rate and review each other after completed shifts. Reviews must be honest, relevant, and non-discriminatory. giggz reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our community guidelines.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Harass, discriminate against, or threaten other users
• Attempt to circumvent the platform for direct hiring
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Manipulate ratings or reviews

9. Limitation of Liability

giggz provides the platform “as is” and does not guarantee the quality of work, availability of shifts, or the conduct of any user. To the maximum extent permitted by law, giggz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
